1. San Josenyong Gala. What I like about this blog is the author’s pursuit of discovering the less-visited
places in the Philippines. While other travelers find their way in more popular destinations such as Boracay, Palawan and others, you may find San Josenyong Gala taking the road less traveled. Also, the author is a librarian, which made the blog all the more interesting.
2. Business What Ifs. What I like about this blog is its bravery in targeting business blog-readers who don’t like reading long articles, have short attention spans and prefer scanning and skimming. I am actually one of those people that's why I am nominating this blog.
3. The Faces. What I like about this blog is its ingenuity. While other blogs feature events, places and products, this blog talk about people. As said, it is a profile of passion, aspiration and self-introspection. I salute the genius author behind this awesome blog!
4. Barako Newsline. What I like about this blog is its phenomenal popularity. One day, I will meet its author and learn from him!
5. Online Jobs Lifestyle. What I like about this blog is its advocacy of helping others. It introduces an entirely new industry that many people will actually benefit from - the online jobs industry. I believe that more online professionals should start sharing their knowledge to others, to help the latter discover more opportunities to earn for a living.
6. Wazzup Pilipinas. What I like about this blog is its ability to engage the blogging community as well as other prime agencies and establishments relevant to its niche. I personally believe in finding one’s own community to thrive as a digital influencer. This blog did that, and more. It started its own community and movement.
7. A Letter Writer. What I like about this blog is its pursuit to revive a lost art - the art of letter writing. I, myself, is an avid fan of this powerful art and I would like to see more of this kind of literature circulating in the online world.
8. FilipiKnow. What I like about this blog is its style. It wants to educated and entertain its readers through its top 10 lists, how-to’s and random trivia. As a big fan of BuzzFeed and Mashable, I’d like to see how a local blog will “regionalize” those two foreign blogs that I like. If others can do it, Filipinos can do it too!
9. Geejay Travel Log. What I like about this blog is its good layout and good writing. These things are two irresistible features of a blog for me so I am nominating this blog.
10. So No One Told You Life Was Gonna Be This Way. What I like about this blog is its authenticity. I believe bloggers should not be afraid to talk about their innermost beliefs and thoughts just like what this blog does. Talking about those things, for me, is what makes blogs more personal, compared to other entities found over the internet.
